Lotsa what I played on this first Halloween Special was from the double-LP "Elvira Presents Haunted Hits", which Anton Stropus of the Pop Life kindly allowed me to borrow. The same compilation is available on CD with the following tracks missing:

For the record, the missing songs are: "Attack of the Killer Tomatoes", "Little Demon", "Attack of the Fifty Foot Woman", "King Kong", "The Creature" and "Martian Hop". But this is still probably the best horror themed music compilation available."

Of the 49 songs I played on the three-hour program, only 15 songs were a cappella. Some of the non a cappella ones I still play on the Halloween shows. This was the only time that Lotsa A Cappella's Halloween show was three hours long: Monday morning 3 AM to 6 AM. I wonder how many listeners we had for that first Halloween special?
